Becky Lynch

From a modest upbringing in the Smoky Mountain region of Tennessee, Becky Lynch has progressed from a small town girl next door into a unique New York City personality.  Her worldview has been far from sheltered, originating with her early film role in The River, through her extensive world travel, and later, from formal education at both Monmouth University and New York Film Academy.  Combined with her life-long passion for literature, music, dance, and theatre, she blossomed into a well-rounded individual, meanwhile maintaining a hard-working down to earth nature.

Her persistence is duly noted through her experience as a classically trained pianist, beginning at the mere age of two, and continuing today with a specialization in Jazz and Swing.  Since that time, she has achieved more than two dozen national piano titles and awards.   Her dance skills began development with ballet at age five, and have aided her recent transition into the swing stylings gracefully.   By age seven, she began traveling with professional theatre groups.  This experience was translated into one of her earliest major successes: a starring role in The River.  Alongside Mel Gibson, Sissy Spacek, Scott Glenn, and James Tolkan, Becky Lynch was directed by Mark Rydell, after being culled out of more than twenty thousand girls by casting director Lynn Stalmaster.  Continually driven by her creative passions, she secured third place honors in the nation for a short dramatic film, in which she acted, wrote, directed, and produced.

Not satisfied with the wealth of her life experience, her studious education matured with double Bachelors degrees in Finance and Economics and a Minor in IT from Monmouth University.  This was followed-up with the graduate Film Directing program at New York Film Academy.  Her pleasant ambition for creative writing persevered as she focused her skills onto current events as a newspaper columnist for four years with the Herald & Tribune.

Humbly thankful for the successful life bestowed upon her, Becky has always been a generous gracious soul.  This is illustrated through her wide variety of altruistic efforts - ultimately focused on the venues she values most.  Energetically renewing an Annual Donor Member status with The Metropolitan Opera Guild has been as important to her, as loyally preserving her SAG membership stature.  It was upon her extensive adventurous travels to Africa that she became involved with a myriad of charitable organizations.  Becky proudly helps cultivate women’s business in Africa through her micro-lending efforts, and advocates anti-poaching groups in Kenya.  Helping lead the way towards realistic goals, she is also a supporter of Heifer International nonprofit group, working to eradicate poverty and hunger through sustainable, values-based holistic community development.  Her warm compassion for animals continues here, in her home country, as a life-long supporter of many pet adoption agencies such as the SPCA, the ASPCA, and the North Shore Animal League, among others.  She is also a proud mother of two, lovable beagles, George and Polly.

As the next chapter in her life unfolds, Becky is eager to endeavor further into advancing her creative ambitions.  Thrusting herself back on to the world stage of acting and modeling, she intends to articulate her bright future in the spotlight, tirelessly promoting and supporting courageous causes.  Determined to continually improve herself as an imaginative, independent, and intelligent woman, her thoughtful self-awareness willingly accepts any compelling challenge.  Assuredly upholding this respectful and responsible existence, Becky Lynch promotes the hope and encouragement in the confidence required for her, as well as others, to synergistically succeed.
